Use Tucker's inspiration, and take especially good care of yourself (especially sleep), lean on your friends, and you'll be just fine. That's what I did when I had to plough through when Chloe died and couldn't take any time off. Indeed, I didn't leave the office until 8 or 9 that entire week and part of the next -- and found that throwing myself into the work helped. BTW, I had Chloe individually cremated as well. As for the metaphysical -- look inside yourself to find your answers, hopefully on the Promenade while gazing at the Manhattan skyline. -- Steve -------------------------------------- From: "Lynn Stickels" To: "felvtalk" Subject: Stinker..........Steve Date sent: Fri, 1 May 1998 14:54:50 -0700 Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Steve, Actually, Stinker had the gingivitis from the very beginning of his leukemia as a KITTEN. It was one of the first signs of his leukemia. I understand the questions you have and tearfully agree with you on wondering what happens next--and the lucky people who truly believe in an afterlife of good. I know nothing to say to comfort you because at times like this there is nothing to alleviate the pain. Please know that I am thinking of you and sharing in your grief. Remember the Rainbow Bridge. Know he is at peace and doesn't hurt anymore. Remember the good times with Tucker. Remember the love you had for hima nd from him. The unconditional love these little ones give us must sustain us when they leave. You WILL see him again. Who did the cremation? Did the vet arrange it? I know this may sound morbid, but I want to do the same thing if that awful day ever comes to me again. I am so glad she's getting better. I have to have Chaz retested. My vet got a written report Thursday saying Chaz was negative after a verbal report saying he was positive. Now he has to go in Monday and get retest. He is beginning to hate the vet. ANyway Glad Rissia-Tai is getting better. It does give us all hope. Little Duncan showing up just a little after you cleaned out Ernie's room kind of makes you think twice about things, doesn't it? Give Duncan a big hug from me, he sounds darling.
