She doesn't look like a little thing anymore but she does look funny without her hair. She really does look like a little lion and has the growl to match. Right now she is laying in the sun right in the middle of the bed. Boy what a life. We went to the vet for her weekly cbc and Immunoregulin yesterday, and she just continues to amaze all of us, especially considering where she was just 2-3 weeks ago. Her weight is back up to 6 lbs. 4 oz, an 8 oz. gain in just a week! I knew when I heard that that things could only get better. The vet just called to give me some long-awaited good news. Her pcv is up to 23%, it was at 18% last week. Her rbc is up to 3.1, up from 2.4 last week. Her wbc is up to 6600, from 3400 last week. And she is still testing negative for Hemobart! We're still waiting for the results from the Protein Electrophorisis. It's still pending, we had to draw more blood yesterday to do the test since the lab screwed up last week. Hopefully, it will be more good news. God only knows, she deserves it after all she has been through!! Will post when I hear, Pam -------------------------------------- From: Newtanator Date sent: Sat, 25 Apr 1998 18:57:10 EDT To: felvtalk@MailingList.net Subject: Re: Allie Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Carol. There's a sign here to. In neon. With a big arrow. It says, "sucker lives here, but she has a lot of food". I'm not sure which is luckier, you or Allie. barb -------------------------------------- From: Newtanator Date sent: Sat, 25 Apr 1998 18:58:20 EDT To: felvtalk@MailingList.net Subject: Re: Vitamins? "FUR" is an acronym for "Feline Underground Railroad." Owned by Bill Gorman . To: listserv@psuvm.psu.edu Subject: subscribe FUR-L your-name The above comes from the rec.pets. cats homepage: http://www.io.com/~tittle/cat-faqs/ I also subscribe to a general list for cats (Feline-L) which has a topic header especially for rescue. Let me know if I can post anything. I am so glad to hear about Rissa-Tai. That situation will not do anything but worsen Pee-wee's condition. Needs no stress and lots of nutritional support. If an IFA could be done, and he's at level 1 or 2 he may be able to beat this with proper care.
