The added nutrients he would get from whole foods would provide him with higher-quality nutrition. If you are interested in more information, let me know. Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Paula, Good luck with George's transfusion. Hopefully, this will do the trick! We'll be thinking of you both. Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Paula, One other thing. Interferon can cause depression. We had Rissa-Tai on an every day 1 cc dose, and she was extremely down and lethargic. We think one of the reasons she is doing better now is that we switched her to one cc every third day. She perked up after 1 1/2 days off the stuff continuously. Maybe this protocol would help George as well. It does sound like an advertisement some. My vet's concern was that with the other problems Rissa had been having that it would block her intestines. If you have other questions, let me know after reading the site. When Jean- Pierre from Alphaterra called me back, he suggested working up to 1/2 teaspoon of the clay over a 3 day period, then the 1/2 tsp. every day. I have had one other inquiry so far, but no definate response. Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Nina, I'm sorry to hear of your loss of Blackie. Please know that Blackie is in a place where there is no pain, lots of sunshine, butterflies, and other cats to play with. Also, I'm sure Blackie is enjoying his job as your little guardian furangel, and will be watching over you. There are a lot of people with a lot of knowledge here, and you'll receive great support as well. You might want to take a look at the archives. I realize they are long, and some of the reading is repititious, but there is a wealth of info there. You may want to try a mixture of Immunoregulin (or Acemannan if there is a lymphosarcoma or visible tumors) and Interferon. Pet- Tinic is a great iron supplement, Nutracal is really good for extra nutrition. The prednisone has done well for some, not so well for others, but works at least to get things rolling for our kitties. And, don't forget the supplements. You might actually want to start with the FAQ sheet, see if that helps any. Good luck, we're all here for you. Also, if pills (even 1/4 pills) are to hard to give, he recommends the Benadryl Liquid - Pediatric formula.
