But, I'll need everyone's cooperation for this one to work. What I want is for each and every one of you to ask your vets if they will give their permission to be listed as "a vet that uses these newer methods to treat FeLV", so that a national (international ?) directory can be set up. In order for this to work, you need to get your vet's permission first. Then, what I need is the vet's full name, office address, city and state, and her/his office practice name. Let me know if you think this is a good idea. Please try to do this asap because I've been in contact with a few other vets that may be interested in adding their names to this list. Assure them that this will be a free service, and I'll add links if they have their own web pages. Our goal is to help folks more quickly find these informed and cooperative vets- nothing more, nothing less. Thanks, and I hope to hear from y'all soon. I know my homoepathic vet (100 miles from home, but worth the drive) will agree, and my "regular" vet in town is a convert after seeing my guys survive for a year now. First of all, in responce to your letter, my Stinker is not gone. As for a worse depression that you spoke of, I am not looking for symphathy. I am sure there is alot more hurt in this life than what I am going through. This pain is something that I did not ask for, it happened. Thank you for your kind??? words. -------------------------------------- From: AskforArt Date sent: Sat, 28 Feb 1998 21:23:20 EST To: felvtalk@MailingList.net Subject: Re: Yet another project Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net James, there's a site at altvetmed.com/ with listings for holistic and homeopathic vets. Can you do a link from the newsgroup? LInda P in Sacramento -------------------------------------- From: "James G. Do you mean add a link from the web page directory I'm trying to establish? If so, I'll write their web admin and ask if it would be alright to add a link to their pages. Thanks for letting me know about these listings. I'll let y'all know if they give their permission. In the meantime, I've created the template for this directory- I just need names, addresses, phone#, and such put in it. Take care, and I hope we get some volunteers soon. Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Linda, I'm glad you're doing better, but yes, it does take a long time to heal and you are constantly reminded of their absense. I guess, we never get over losing those who are special to us, but as long as their memories are alive in us, they do continue to live on. Thoughts of you. I am not really one to sniffle.:) Just all of a sudden, I was overcome by severe pain without any warning. I don't usually cry or express any emotion but when I read your letter last night, the tears just flowed. What I am trying to say is I truly love you for caring.:) You will never know what you have done for me. The pain is still here and I don't know how to handle it but I am sure it will probably go away soon. I don't want to die, what a silly thought! But, I don't want to live at this time. How's that for a dilema?:) I still have a great sence of humor.:) Well, thank you for being here for me. I may even write to you again...........Thanks Lynn and my cat, Stinker! -------------------------------------- END
