A bottle of 30 capsules. Maybe this would be more affordable. The address is: members.tripod.com/~aloegarden/product.htm. I hope this helps some.:) .......................Lynn( -------------------------------------- From: "Lynn Stickels" To: "felvtalk" Subject: Re: Stinker Date sent: Wed, 25 Feb 1998 09:26:25 -0800 Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net I have been hesitant in writing but I thought I would offer some suggestion for other members. Stinker, for the past two years would be so very sick at least once a week and each time, I wouldn't know if this was "it". For the past few weeks, the longest ever, he has been well, as well as a leukemia cat can be.:) What I want to share is that after adding the DMG, Digest A Meal, Super Antioxidants, Flora Support, Insure Plus Vitamins, Aloe Vera juice and Vitamin C, I have seen a miracalous recovery in Stinker. I don't know how long this will last, he may go down tomorrow but for now he is doing so very well. I thought that I should share this with you in case you would want to try the same. My next treatments that I will "stuff down his throat" will be the Ambrotose and the Body Builder. He has been such a good sport about all of this.:) I feel that anything and everything to fight back is well worth the effort and expense. I do not write too much as words are hard for me to express. I hurt so deeply as I read of the many losses. I'm sorry that I don't respond as I should but I do want you to know that I pray very hard for all your babies. I guess that's about all I have to say for now. Thanks for listening...................Lynn(Stinker) -------------------------------------- From: "Steve Lackow" To: Subject: Re: Interferon Strength Date sent: Wed, 25 Feb 1998 10:28:33 -0800 Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net It says nothing about units, Jim. So the question is, how many units of interferon are in 1cc of pure undiluted interferon? If you get the feeling I don't trust the vet, you got that right. -- Steve -------------------------------------- From: "Carol Gentry" To: Subject: Re: Russian Date sent: Sun, 22 Feb 1998 22:26:07 -0800 Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Linda-My thoughts and prayers are with you. I thought maybe if anyone wanted to zap a quick e mail about her situation to me, I'd print off a couple letters to help her like we all have helped each other. She needs a lot of support right now. She's a student and I'm sure feels very alone right now. Thank you so much. Michele Michele R. Smeal mrb2@psu.edu 107 Ritenour Bldg. If so, you'll have to ask him/her how many units were ordered. Generally (and please don't use this as an absolute answer), that 1 cc (if that is the whole bottle) would contain 3 million units. In which case, you'd have to dilute it with 100,000 cc's of saline- 100 Litres! I can't imagine your vet just giving you a 3 million unit vial, though. Please contact this person immediately and get some answers. If you put that 1 cc into 100 cc's saline, no wonder Chloe acted funny. She would've gotten 1000 times as much as she needed! Since we don't really know what the LD-50 number is for Interferon in cats, I'd stop immediately until you get some concrete answers. Let us know how it goes. FIP is a terrible illness (as you know) and losing a pet is a horrendous loss, as both you and Michele know. You must be feeling so awful. Please allow yourself to take all the time you need to grieve. While that may feel hopeless, it will actually make you move through the pain to heal. I am so sorry you have to go through this. I am thinking of you. Nancy -------------------------------------- Date sent: Wed, 25 Feb 1998 14:32:40 -0600 (CST) From: "Nancy A. I can just see that sweet little guy running and jumping with all the other little kitties at the Bridge. He'll have so much to tell you when you get there (which I hope won't be for a long while). Sometimes, especially when I visit my beloved pets' graves, I have this feeling that they are always there, surrounding me, in a different dimension. Perhaps Benny is nearer to you than you realize. By the way, thank you for helping Shawna out--that was/is so considerate of you. Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Just got a call back from vet & FIV & FelV were both NEGATIVE!!!! I can't believe it. I was afraid to call this am I was so sure he was dead. Last night he could not lift his head & had not eaten. Today he was sitting up & pushed his head into the receptionists hand. He has even tasted a bit of food. I will see him after work today & Maybe bring him home tomorrow if he's off IV. Still don't know what the infection is suspected Pak Something but he's been vaccinated for it. Vet is checking with pathologist today & retesting blood count. Thanks to all for your encouragement. I really appreciate being able to sound off. Thanks, Dana PS I did notice what looked like a spot of blood in the feces of one of my positive kittens tho last night. Is this a serious symptom do you suppose? They are all eating, purring & healthy looking. It was just fluke that I noticed it. WHat could this be from? -------------------------------------- Date sent: Wed, 25 Feb 1998 15:41:18 -0600 To: felvtalk@MailingList.net From: Cheryl DeSantis Subject: Re: Stinker Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Lynn and Stinker, I was really pleased to read your note. Please keep sharing what you are doing for Stinker. I still have one at home that has a chance of becoming positive. (I will be getting her tested, but I am waiting another week or so.)
