Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Does anyone have a Canadian or Western US contact for Ambrotose? I have tried the Mannatech Web & E mailed but no response. It sounds like it might be a good bet to try on my 3 kittens showing no symptoms. I am fortunate not to have ANY trouble getting food or supplements into them perhaps because they were once wild kittens never knowing where or when their next meal would come. I have not had any luck finding the DMG either here in Canada but perhaps it is under another name(?). I am sorry to read of the latest deaths due to this disease & truly hope that we will be able to stop it Soon. It has been a difficult couple of weeks for many people on the list but everyone's support has been great for all. Thanks to everyone, Dana(Sookey, Spitzie, Charlie cats all positive & Meeko & Teeka Negative we hope) -------------------------------------- Date sent: Wed, 18 Feb 1998 22:07:25 -0800 From: Dana Crow Organization: Magical Moments Preschool To: felvtalk@MailingList.net Subject: Re: tv/computer Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Barb, Love the Oprah comment!!! Perhaps even Merlin will be well enough to travel to the show with Jim & yourself to become famous on the Silver Screen as well as in print!! On the more serious side though, a story on feline Leukemia just might better educate the general public as to its devastating effects & the actual prevalance of the disease. Maybe more SPCA's & animal shelters would test for it before placing cats for adoption thus cutting down on the spread to otherwise healthy cats. Also, maybe some drug & supplement Co's might be interested in some experimentation with some of our furry friends. Not to mention helping Jim out at the same time. Maybe I'm just dreaming but it would be nice!!!!!!! I e'd last night with the e address of The View. If anyone has the e address of another hot show, send it our way. The more shows we blitz the better our chances of getting a response. Smeal" Subject: Re:Anitra Frazier reply/separation of cats Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net I bought that exact book at a bookstore out of town when I first found out my Benny ( who is at the Rainbow Bridge now--he went there Feb. 7th) had this terrible disease ..actually I bought it the very next day becasue I wanted to help him so desparately. It had a lot of info, but the people on felvtalk helped a lot more and Dr. Myers helped a lot. I bought it mainly for the homeopathic recipes, but after dpeaking to my old vet clinic, they were against a lot of the foods for Benny. I gave him a timy bit of raw hamburg in the beginning but he only ate a piece one time, then I gave him A/D ( he hated it) or his regular canned food which the new vet said was fine. Like I told Steve, he liked shredded turkey and tuna & egg or Tuna Dinner. I tried calling Anitra Frazier ( one of the authors) because I was desparate to get Benny help asap and there was no listing in New York City for "her" specificaly ...maybe it was under her husband's name. The other author of the book wan't found in the listings either. Does anyone know ...I'VE ASKED THIS BEFORE AND Dr. Myers said it's always risky to have a + cat and a negative together, but my Boots and Timy wasnt to be together, they are both doing so welll and happy even though Timmy is + but NO sx (thank goodness) But Boots likes to jump on Timmy and softly bite him or kitty wrestle and I don't let hem together long due to Boots possibly getting the disease from Timmy even though Boots was vaccinated for his 2nd part of the feline leuk. a couple weeks ago. HELP. Do they always have to be apart? I guess I know the answer. -------------------------------------- From: "Lynn Stickels" To: "felvtalk" Subject: Dr. Myers re: Body Builder Date sent: Thu, 19 Feb 1998 09:32:51 -0800 Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Dr. Myers, I am interested as are alot of others in obtaining the Body Builder. You said you got up in the morning because of the sucess of Merylin and Chloe. I just want you to know that you have another success story with my cat, Stinker. Because of you and all of the people here, my precious kitty is still living. I found your group with having little hope left for Stinker. You all showed me new ways to fight and gave me so much more hope and you kept me and Stinker going. Without you all, I know my Stinker wouldn't be alive today. You started him on the interferon, you educated my vet, you educated me as to get my cats tested, you gave me the knowledge of Dr. Myers, the DMG, the vitamins, the supplements, the ambrotose or aloe vera(still working o that one), the different medicines and opinions of so many problems, (which I took to heart) and finally you put the fire back in my soul. These pasts weeks, I have seen a new cat in my Stinker that I haven't seen since he was a kitten. He is around two years old now and most of his life has been fight. His life is my life. I have never felt so much love for "a cat" as I do Stinker. You all have given me support when I felt so very much alone. You have understood how much love there is for "just a cat". I love you all!.......................Lynn(Stinker) -------------------------------------- From: "Steve Lackow" To: Subject: Re: Jim.....Another success story Date sent: Thu, 19 Feb 1998 10:11:33 -0800 Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Lynn, I would love to publish a tribute to Stinker on our FeLV Support website at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/6167/tributes.html, if you are so inclined! -- Steve L. -------------------------------------- From: "Steve Lackow" To: Subject: Re: Ambrotose-Aloe Vera juice?
