Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Irene, where are you in Arizona? Tucson ? Get me some more info on your group, and I don't know if I'll be able to help, but I'd like to know. I think to have a house we can all live in, I'm leaving things the way they are. I appreciate you all agreeing with me (for the most part)! I don't even think they know if it's a tumor or not. The vet said this typr of cancer can be a tumor or diffused more in the bone so I don't know what to do. Thanks again for thinking of us. Do what you can, what you think will help and a reality we must all deal with, what you can afford. No matter what happens, you will know that you have done what you can, what ever that may turn out to be, and, in the end, that's all that we can do. You are in my thoughts. If you said in an earlier letter, I must have missed it. Is it somewhere (if it is a tumor) that can be amputated? Cats are very resiliant, can easily get around on three legs. Saw one at the vets the other day. Didn't even realize it only had three until it turned towards me. All my babies and Russian and I are pulling for you both. You know in your heart you'll make the right decision when it comes. I took care of my Mom for almost three years and this past spring she got really bad. She was 87. They told me she could be hospitalized and do agressive stuff to her she might pull through again. She had said before she would not want it. She died on June 4th. I was there with her. It is hard to let go of anything you love so much but you'll always see them again. Go with your heart and we send our prayers for you. -------------------------------------- From: DLMLLM@aol.com Date sent: Thu, 5 Feb 1998 23:52:22 EST To: Felvtalk@mailinglist.net Subject: Russian Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Gee guys, sorry I got so meladramatic on that last one. Somtimes it just feels like my Mom is watching over us. I was very close to her and still feel that way. It sometimes comes out. Barb, Russian came home this am. She is very weak in the end area. Sort of wobbly when she walks. I've been force feeding her the science diet ad stuff. She takes a whole feeding syringe then I shove down can milk. She usually drinks that herself. She is weak, she sleeps alot and the playpen is very much needed. She has nibbled on the clay litter but not alot yet. She growls when you pick her up and really growls when you feed her. She loves cooked hamburg but won't touch it now. I talked to the doctor today. She says feed her as much as I can get down about every 5 hours, liquid meds every 12. And no goats milk or extras till she inproves. She is happier at home, but if you don't watch her she hides in weird places. I'm lucky for her now, but I know time will tell how much she can improve. You know I read all these notes from all of you and my heart goes out to you all. It is like we've known each other awhile and became friends so quickly. I especially liked the bear hugs from Kelly, I copied it to hang up. I can't do stuff like that yet on this thing. Well gotta feed Russian and hit the bed. Work tomorrow. Hug the babies tonight.
