My first website is http://www.stel.ru/stalin/young_joseph_1879-1904.htm. This website is all about Joseph Stalin. This site provides a bibliography on him, recordings of some of his speeches, videos of him and pictures of the great ruler. This site it very detailed and tells all the events that happened to Stalin and some that also happened to Russia. The iconological timeline of Stalin starts in 1879 when he is born and goes all the way to 1940. This website mentions every aspect of Stalin’s life. It is very detailed and accurate in its information. This website has to do with what we are studying in class very much. In all of Chapter 28 Stalin and the way he ruled is covered. This website goes in more detail what the book talks about. This website is much better than the book and helps the reader understand better all the events that Stalin caused and had to go through. He is a very interesting leader and I learned a lot more from this website than I did in the book. This website was great and a wonderful aid. Besides the text it also had pictures, recordings and videos that make it so much easier and interesting for a student to learn. This website was very helpful and I learned a lot of new things I never knew about Stalin. This website is a great student resource.

The second site I found was about the Russian Revolution. This was a very interesting site and pretty detailed. This site had topics of the revolution such as general pages on the Russian Revolution, revolutionary movement before 1917, February and October Revolutions, civil war and after, people, political party movements, and images and maps. This site follows along great with what we are reading in class. In class we read all about the Russian Revolution, what it was, why it happened and what people were involved. This site talks about all those things but in more detail. It gives good information and I learned a few new things that I didn’t know about and the book doesn’t mention. As a whole I liked the website a lot. It was easy to understand and a great student resource. This site was very detailed and gave great information about the Russian Revolution.

The last website I found was also on the Russian Revolution. Although my previous website might be a little more detailed I like this a lot because it is easy to read, easy to understand and the paragraphs just cut to the facts. I think this site is a great student resource. It fits right in with what we are learning in class. This website might not give too many more facts than the book does but it makes all of its information easier to understand and read. This site makes its information fun to read. I didn’t learn many new things though, I just understood them better. This site is a great student resource especially for someone who has trouble understanding what the Russian Revolution is all about. It  is also great for someone who just wants to get the facts. All in all I liked this website very much and found it very helpful in researching the Russian Revolution. This website was one of the best ones I found.
