How is a Clock like the Bubonic Plague?

A clock is like the bubonic plague because both of them past very quickly. Time seems to fly when you are busy or not paying attention to it. Just as time flies the plague would sweep into an area, kill many people and spread into another region. The plague lasted for about a year but that is not very long for a terrible sickness.  Also they seem to spread when people are not paying attention. This is why a clock is like the bubonic plague.
