- The Iliad and the Odyssey were books written by Homer that talked about Greek
life and war.
- The
mountains help shape the development of Greek civilizations by dividing
the land into isolated parts so Greece had very many small
city-states and the people had loyalty to their city-states.
- The
Spartan males and females served the military because the men were
soldiers and from the a very young age they were trained to fight, and the women were
supposed to birth strong male babies.
- Athens was a
democracy because all citizen were able to vote
on thing involving the government, although it was a direct democracy.
- The
results of the Persian War were that Athens
became the most powerful city-state in Greece, they formed the Delian
League and increased the sense of uniqueness.
- The
Peloponnesian War affected Athens
by ending Athenian greatness and the democracy suffered.
- It is
a method of questions and answers
- The
lands conquered by Alexander the Great were from Asia Minor to the Hindu Kush to the Persian Gulf.
- The
cultures that were blended were Greek, Persian, Egyptian, and Indian.
