The first website I found was on World War I. It is very informational and has many subtopics. Some topics that are on the website are important battles, trench warfare, political leaders, military leaders, and weapons and machines as well as many other topics. The site that I found goes in to great detail about the topics that it talks about.  And has specific battles and people under each topic. There are 23 topics and many of them are things that the book does no mention. The site has pictures and is easy to read and understand. The website helped me understand better what the war was all about and what the soldiers went through. It also put in perspective how big the war really was. This site is in my opinion the best World War I website there is. It is very student friendly and give lots of information. The website deals a lot with what we are learning about in class because it touches on almost every part of the war that the book mentions. It actually gives more information of some subject than the book does. The website also gives more examples than the book does too. I found the website a lot more helpful than the book. It is a great World War I resource.

The second website I found talks about women in World War I and the important role that they played during the war.  This site talks about all the important that women did during this time of war and also how women fought in the war.  The site mentions that those women were the first in the United State that were admitted to some military rank and status. The site shows pictures and is easy to read and understand. The site is very informative. It talks about many things that the book does not and mentions more about women fighting in the war than the book does. It really helps the reader understand all the things that the women also had to go through. It gives the reader a different perspective than the book does. The site goes along with what we are learning about in class because in class and in the book we stated how important women were in the war and the roles they played in the war.  Without the women in the war the World War I may have been lost by the Allies. This site is very helpful as a source of the major part that women played in World War I. This website give very much information on the subject as well as accurate information. I found the site very interesting and enjoyable to read.

The last website I found is the weapons that soldiers used in World War I. This website is very informative. It has eight subjects of weapons used during the war by both the Allies and the Central Powers. The subjects are bayonets, flamethrowers, grenades, machine guns, pistols, poison gas, rifles, tanks and trench mortars. Each subject had lots of information on it and pictures of the weapons during the war. The website is very informative and is easy to understand and read. It helped me understand how brutal the war was and all the things that the soldiers had to go through and see. This website differently talks a lot more about weapons than the book does. The book barely mentions weapons in the book but the website goes into great depth about each weapon. This site has a lot to do with what we are learning about in class because weapons are a big part of all wars and a necessity to fight and win a war.  All these weapons played an important part of World War I. I found this website very informative and helpful. This site is a great resource for research on weapons of World War I.
