These are pics from the 3 of 6 kids all at the RRanch last week with significant others in tow. We had a fantastic time despite heavy thunderstorms at times. loss of power twice, and staying up wayyy too late to cram in all the fun in two nights/one day.
The pics without the Mom designation in the name are 1024x768 for prints. Mom's are from e-mail and are smaller.
We couldn't visit the R-Ranch without feeding the horses- none of the kids would stand for it!
A 17 year old tradition and new for Greg and Meagan- tubing the Chattahooche in Helen. Corny but lots of fun!
Mom and Dad visited for this special occasion and this pic came out well. The kids love the Ranch and their grandparents too! The grape salad and chewy chocolate-peanut butter treats were awesome. I hear fishing was poor unless you like Copperheads (uugh) and blackberry picking went great.
It was mainly Bobby's choice instead of gold panning and another 17 year old tradition and again a first for Greg and Meagan who both enjoyed it. Greg got a raw sapphire as big around as a grape tomatoe he's thinking of having done into jewelry (but not there, we figure that's their game). We all- as always- got some really nice semi-precious hunks! In fact, I think Kelly got a pretty big raw Emerald she's thinking of having done too.
Here's a great shot of most of us feeding the horses the morning Mom and Dad visited- not 100 yards from the cabin too!
Mom also got a great group shot of us at RRanch cabin 831- we know it well.
THAT'S ALL FOLKS!
