2. Click the 'Download' tab, on the left side of the screen.
3. Scroll down until you see the 'Windows i386 - 32bit' Version 2.3.0
- - - Click Download.
4. Save the file to a folder you can locate easily. Then run the install program
- - - from that folder. Double-click the Ventrilo Icon on your desktop.
5. Create a Username, by clicking the "->" box located to the right of the
- - - User Name field, then selecting "New"
6. Now repeat the process for entering a server. "->" box, then click 'New," then
- - - enter the following information:
Server Name: Fellowship ofthearts
Hostname or IP: 216.139.218.202
Host or Port Number: 4106
Password:
7. Finish the process by selecting the "Ok" button.
8. Finally, click "Connect..." to connect you to the server! From here I'd suggest
- - - going to setup and allocating a comfortable key to use to talk.
- - a. Go to "Setup...", Find the box that says "Use Push-to-Talk Hotkey" and
- - - check it.
- - b. Now find the field labeled "Hotkey" and push the button you want the hotkey
- - - to be. For example if you click on the field with your left mouse button
- - - your hotkey will appear as MOUSE1. If you click the left Alt key it will appear
- - - as LALT. This is entirely user preference.
Lastly, enjoy yourselves. Keep the swearing down, avoid religious chat, off-color jokes, and above all: Be respectful to everyone.
