Which Spell will I need?
With the cost of some spells, people often ask me which blm spells will they actualy need.  In short, all of them, but there are some you can do with out.  Ice Spikes, and Stonaga II are realy one i recomend you skip overm and possibly quake if the price is to high.
Elemental Direct Damage (Nukes)
Stone 1~4
Water 1~4
Aero 1~4
Fire 1~4
Blizzard 1~4
Thunder 1~4

Enfeebling and DOT* Spells
Bio*: 1~2, Lowers a targets Attack, (Dark Magic)
Bind: Reduces tragets movment to 0 (Earth)
Poison 1~2/Poisona*: Reduces target's HP (Water)
Shock*: Lowers  MND and resistance to enfeebling Spells (Lightning)
Rasp*: Lowers Dex and Accuracy (Earth)
Choke*: Lowers VIT and Defence (Wind)
Frost*: Lowers AGI and Evasion (Ice)
Burn*: Lowers INT and reisistance to elemental spells (fire)
Drown*: Reduces  STR and Attack (Water)
Stun: Stuns target for a very short time (Dark Magic/Lightning)
Sleep1~2/Sleepga 1~2 :Sleeps target/targets

Ancient Magic*
Freez (Ice): Damage:800 with MB ~1100+
Tornado (Wind) Damage: 850~900 with MB ~1200+
Quake (Earth) Damage: 950~1000 with MB 1250~1300+
Burst (Lightning): Damage:~1000 with MB ~1300+
Flood (water): Damage: ~1100 with MB ~1400+
Flare (Fire): Damage: ~1200 with MB ~ 1600+
*Damage given is with a lvl 66 taru blm with elemental staffs equiped

Area Of Effect (AOE)
Stonaga 1~3
Wateraga 1~3
Aeraga 1~3
Firaga 1~3
Blizzaga 1~3
Thundaga 1~3 (Most Powerful blm spell)
Poisonaga 1~2
Sleepaga 1~2 (Most powerful Sleep spell)

Other BLM Spells
Warp- transports the caster to his/her Home Point
Warp II- Transports target (party member) to his/her home point
Tractor- Transports KO'd player to the caster's location
Aspir- Drains MP from target and adds it to the caster
Drain- Drains HP from target and adds it to the caster
Ice/Fire/Shock Spikes- causes elemental damage to opponent when they score a hit on the caster
