God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
2. About Jesus Christ
He is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on a cross. He arose form the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
3. About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make mankind aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance for doing what is right. The Christian needs to live under His control daily.
4. About Christian Living
When a person becomes a Christian, God's Word says that person is a new creation. Old habits are passed away. While we believe this is a process, the only way to live a new lifestyle is through obedience to the will of God. We can know the will of God through bible study, prayer and worship, as well as, other ways. God provides strength to live this new life through the power of the Holy Spirit, if we just obey.
5. About mankind
We believe that all mankind is made in the image of God. We are marred by sin that separates us from God.
6. About Salvation: it is a gift from God to mankind. We can never make up for our sin by good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Jesus Christ into our life by faith.
7. About Eternity: We are were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally apart from God by sin, or in union with God through salvation.
8. About Eternal Security: Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in the salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace of God, not by our efforts. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this faith in eternal security.
9. About the Bible: The Bible is God's Word to all mankind. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
About Us
We are a conservative, evangelical, non-denominational congregatioh. We tend to be very "Baptist" in our leanings, but are not affiliated with any official denomination or non-denominational association. We work in the community, ministering to those living in the area.We have partnered and will continue to partner with a variety of congregations to minister to the surrounding communities.
We strongly believe in being an ACTS congregation. This is not just for face value. Because of the small size of our congregation, we rely on each other for help with tilling gardens, babysitting, attending family functions and special events, such as graduations, weddings and baby showers. We share what we have with each other, teach each other important life skills, crafts, and study the scripture together. We range in age from infant to Senior Citizens. We place a strong emphasis on helping inside our congregation, knowing if we can't show the Love of God to the Body of Christ, we can't effectively show it to the world. We believe strongly in determining our spiritual gifts and utilizing them to aid the Body of Christ and the community.
We would love to have you join us for worship, and invite you to get to know us. We are friendly, helpful, and have a relaxed worship service and dress code. We accept conservative worshippers, and those that love to lift their hands in praise. Stop on by!
