my mother is fanatical about cleaning. on the one hand, she
has really bad allergies which are annoyed by filth --
including certain relatives (har har har). on the other hand,
she likes to have things clean. sometimes i think she gets a
kick the most out of two things when i'm around her:
(1) cleaning; (2) giving me money before i leave her (sniff!)
