justin's trip back home to michigan, pg. 1
the weekend of 7 may 2004 i went back to michigan,
where my parents live in the country. it was for
mothers' day -- that sunday -- and for my mother's
own birthday -- the next wednesday. it was great to
get away from washington, d.c. (where i live now) and
to be able to just do nothing all weekend and relax
in the countryside. my dreams of owning and operating
a dairy farm were only further confirmed.
the weekend started off seeing the big orange cat,
wyoming, hiding in a shopping bag on my bed.
he is so cute. wyoming is quite old for a cat -- he's
fifteen years old! he's a big cat, too, but still
acts like a kitten.
