JeffCo Schools settles lawsuits with employees fired over porn

GOLDEN – In 2006, four teachers and 13 staff members were fired after an investigation into the use of the district's computers. They were accused of sending pornographic e-mails to each other.
The case was headed to trial and on the day jury selection was to begin, the Jefferson County School District offered a settlement to seven of the former employees who had filed suit.
A group of the workers, from the maintenance and engineering departments, filed wrongful termination lawsuits against the school district. The staff members admit the photos and e-mails that were sent were "racy," but they say babe porn they were not pornography and not grounds for dismissal.
Some pictures included gay male penis porn partial nudity, a picture of gag wrapping paper depicting sex acts, and adult jokes. The workers say they were just trying to share a laugh between friends and family members. No children saw any of the e-mails in question.
Led by Jana Sarbaugh, a former secretary, and Bennye Green, a former facilities manager, the plaintiffs argued that the district should have punished them under the guidelines of the collective bargaining agreement reached with the district and the Classified School Employees Association.
The agreement states that first offense of district policy free full length gay porn should result in a written reprimand. The district argued that another clause in the agreement states that intentional violation of policy can lead to termination.
Terms of the settlement are confidential so it free iphone porn is unclear if any or all of the workers got reinstated to the district. If so, that would have a great impact on their retirement benefits.
A spokesperson with JeffCo Schools says the district declined to comment because it is still an active court case.
