| These last three pictures are from the "Subtlety Competition" all the items on the platter are made of moulded sugar or marzipan, everything from the cups to the napkins, the walnuts and bacon are sugar. the "Penis De Milo" is Marzipan, and there were little fish and shrimp cookies by the fountain. |

| The Hoity Toity party is also called the "highbrow" party, it's the main reason that the Casa is built! all that work for one party! but what a party... it is possibly the one event where you can truly forget the century and imagine the glamour and romance of the renaissance. (for all you naysayers, it is really all about how we WISH it was, regardless of the reality... ) |
