I always liked the Leonov from 2010, but all I had was a fuzzy video tape to try to figure out what it looked like.

The ship is about five inches long.  A 1/4 inch Evergreen tube makes up the spine. The rest of the ship is made up of Evergreen strips cut into little tiny pieces.

OK-The large dish, on the main mast, I did steal from a Glencoe model kit. The detail is layered of different sizes and shapes, and bears little resemblance to the actual Leonov-

but the overall effect is nice.
The front and rear sections were the hardest to get clear pictures of, so those are mostly guesswork.

The thrust reversers on the engine section do fold back- I wish I could have recreated the "Baloot" effect.
