Gary Lindow will be hosting a "Blessing of the Bock" informal club contest during the March club brew meeting. Brew up a batch of your own Bock for the event. You could make a traditional German-style Bock/Maibock/Dopplebock OR come up with your version/style...maybe an American Bock or a Belgian Dopplebock!

National Homebrew Day 2009
Edward Mathis will host a mass brewing at the May meeting. All brewers interested are welcome to bring their setups and brew in my large, insulated garage. I can easily fit five brewers, maybe more depending on the weather. It should be fun and educational as we can all learn about each other brewer's setup and brewing method. I had to move this event to May as i do not have my ventilation system in yet. But we can now coordinate this event with the AHA Big Brew-National Homebrew Day. Plus late Spring will end up working out better anyway.
Oktoberfest 2009
Tim and Toni Eichinger will be hosting an Oktoberfest Party at their home in Pembine on September 19th.. It should be a fun event with food, beer, yoddling lessons. This years theme will be Disco! Dress in retro clothing. Tim and Toni will be holding a dedication ceremony for their new brewhouse Disco Ball! More to come as the event approaches and plans firm up. TCF members should consider brewing up a batch of your best for this event. Also, we are asking for a pot-luck dish to pass. Tim has a number of IPAs ready as well as a few other beers.
