THE ABYSSINIAN

Origine: The Abyssinian is one of the oldest known breeds, there is some speculation and controversy about the origin of this breed. In appearance the Abyssinians have the look of paintings and sculptures of ancient Egyptian cats. Today's abyssinians still retain the jungle look of felis lybica, the African wildcat ancestor of all domestic cats.

Caracter: Remarkably intelligent, Aby's have a very good character, may obey but let me tell you that when you live with an Abyssinian you live in HIS house and he takes the best place He can.

Playful: Aby's love to run around and jump, something they do very well, they like to help their masters with their daily tasks (naturally their own way).

Affectionate: Abyssinian never lose an occasion to demonstrate it.

Characteristics: The Head is a modified , slightly rounded wedge without flat planes. Ears alert, large, and moderately pointed. Eyes almond shaped, large, brilliant, and expressive, the colors are gold, green, or hazel. The body is medium long, lithe and graceful, but showing well developed muscular strength without coarseness. The coat should be soft, slilky, fine in texture, but dense and resilient to the touch with a lustrous sheen.

Abyssinians colors: The Cats Fanciers Association representing the most important Association in the world recognize four colors. Other Associations recognize more colors with the apparition of the Silver color.
