Battle of the Books Character Poster

Due Dates (Group sharing):  Grades 5, 6, and 8 on March 16th; Grade 7 on March 20th

Directions:  Create a poster on 8 � x 11 paper that includes the following:

Part One.  Picture of the character. 
(1 point) Include a picture of the character (you may choose a picture from a magazine, etc.) that shows what the character looks like. 
(1 point) Use identification arrows to identify at least three unique physical characteristics for your character. 
(1 point) Include the page number(s) from the book where this physical characteristic is described.

Part Two.  Conversation bubbles from the character. 
(3 points) Include at least three conversation bubbles from the character of what that character has said, or might say.  Include the page number(s) from the book where these words are spoken.
Be prepared to explain to your group why the character said these things, and how other characters felt when these things were said;

Part Three.  Conversation bubbles from other characters. 
(3 points) Include at least three conversation bubbles from the borders of your paper.  These are things that other characters have said or might say about your character.  Include the page number(s) from the book where these words are spoken.  Be prepared to explain to your group why the character said these things, and how other characters felt when these things were said;

Part Four.   Action description box. 
(3 points) In this box, include complete sentences that describe the actions the character has taken, or might take.  Include the page number(s) from the book where these actions take place.  Be prepared to explain to your group why the character took these actions, and how other characters felt about these actions.
