My Resume | |||||||||||||||||||||||
September 6, 2003 To whom it may concern: I worked as a member of Felicia Samson's village team during the 2002-2003 school year and during summer school at Lee Junior High. I joined her village after a teacher was caled up to active duty in February. As a new teacher, I was still learning how to deal with different situations both in and out of the class room. Felicia was always there when I needed someone to talk to about a parent or a student, and provided many suggestions on how to work through it. Felicia is the most upbeat person I have worked with, whether it was Village Leader or as a summer school administrator. As a new teacher that is still learning how to handled difficult students, Felicia was always there to show me alternative ways of handling a situation. In one such incidence my reaction to the student was a gut reaction that handled the problem but did not provide a lasting solution. Felicia was able to point this out to me in a way that recognized that I was trying to handle the problem, yet provided enough suggestions for me to realize that there was a better way to solve it. Felicia was a wonderful person to work with both as a leader and a mentor. I would be more than happy to work with her again. Sincerely, Kristina Vannucci |
