In 1998 José performed at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx. The concert was recorded by PBS and televised in 1999. This video is taken from that programme with additional footage.The concert has been well edited to get a number of Feliciano standards and much newer material like "Jealous Guy" into a limited period of time. Hit follows hit at a cracking pace and a wonderful show case for José's talent is created. The televised material is followed by interviews with John Phillips, Robbie Krieger, George Benson and most notably Edward James Olmos creator of the "Americanos" concert mentioned elsewhere on this site.
While the others talk of José's work and its influence on them Olmos focuses on José the human being who is his friend.
The interviews are followed by José singing "Crazy Heart" and "Feliz Navidad" which were not included in the original televised programme.
