In 1969 Jose was chosen to perform the theme song "Old Turkey Buzzard" in the film "Mc Kenna's Gold". In 1976 he performed some eight songs in the film "Aaron Loves Angela" and in 1999 He performed "With All My Heart" in the film "Knockout".
