Welcome to our wedding web site! We thought this would be a great way for us to share all of our experiences with you. For those of you who will be attending, all of the information you could ever want to know about our wedding and us will be available for you here. If even one person reads this, that means I didn't waste my time trying to learn HTML. After five wonderful years together, Joshua and I are looking forward to having our dream wedding. We have chosen to get married at Village Christian Church, and the reception will be held at the St. Anne Melkite Greek Church Hall in North Hollywood. It's really nice there, and we know you'll agree.

Here's a picture of it from the freeeway. You can't really see much from there, but it's in there.

Bride and Groom

Felicia
I'm 23 years old. I was born in Glendale, CA and currently live in Burbank, CA. I went to Burbank High School and then went to Glendale Community College to get my associate's degree. After that, I went to CSUN, but it didn't work out. I am currently taking classes online from DeVry University and majoring in Technical Management. I work as an editor for a website called Neopets.com, which is ironic since English has never been my favorite subject. I've learned a lot though, since I've been working there. As for sports, those who know me know that that I'm not the athletic type. I spend most of my free time with Josh, so I really don't have time to do much else on the weekend. Now that we're going to get married, however, most of our free time is spent on preparing for the big day.

Josue
Josue is 26. He went to Lompoc High School and later moved to the San Fernando Valley where he ended up meeting me. He's currently attending RBI school to get his certificate to be a Microsoft Certified Technician. He is doing very well. I always knew he was smart. His favorite sport is basketball, with his preferred team being the Lakers. He doesn't play much now, (okay, not at all) but I hear from him that he had some skills when he was in High School. But for now, he's just a spectator. His favorite place to go is Disneyland. We're always going over there. I didn't know he liked it that much until he kept on taking me there every few months. He even wants to go there for our honeymoon, which I have no problem with because I've really grown to love the place -- oh, yeah... and Josh too ;-)

How We First Met...
It's strange how you never know who it is that you are going to end up marrying. I would have never thought that I would have ended up marrying my friend Carlos' cousin. The first time I saw him was when I went over my friend's house and we were all supposed to get together to go to Citywalk that night and watch a movie (Zorro). Josh decided to join his cousin that day. At first, we didn't even talk. We were both really shy (especially me). The weirdest thing was that as I was walking down Citywalk I felt something weird inside me. It was almost like something was telling me that I was going to end up with Josh in the future, and I hadn't even talked to him yet! Oddly enough, the voice or instinct was right! Josh tells me he felt something similar, as well. He even said that he saved a seat for me in the theater. But, silly me, I didn't even get the hint. It wasn't until I mentioned my interest in Josh to a friend that we started talking. After he found out that I was interested too, we decided to meet up at my friend Randy's house.

Our First Unofficial Date
Since Josh had heard that I was interested, he decided to come over Randy's house, too. We were both so nervous that day. It took us awhile to start talking, but once we did we did, I found out that he was interested in me, too. That same day, my friend Carlos (his cousin) suggested we go to a club in Hollywood called "The Arena". Does anybody remember that? Anyway, I knew my parents wouldn't let me go there, so I told them I was going to the movies instead. Hehehe... didn't know that, did you, Mom and Dad? So we all went in Josh's former car, an ugly, old Ford Tempo. Most of us in the car were afraid the car was going to break down; Josh was afraid someone was going to steal it. Well, after waiting forever to get in, we started dancing. Neither of us really felt comfortable there, but hey, at least we exchanged phone numbers that night. Oh, we never went back there again. Fortunately, Josh knew just where to take a lady to make her feel special. On our first "official" date he took me to the Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills. Yes, his car turned off at every corner we stopped at, but it was still very sweet of him. I remember he was even scared to drive up the hill with that old carcacha. It was such a romantic night. After dinner we went outside to gaze at the lights of the city and the sky, and at each other's eyes. Ever since then, we were hooked.

Our Engagement

Josh and I had been dating for four years when he asked me to marry him. It was really a surprise for me. I was in Mexico for my cousin Lourdes' wedding, and Josh and his family decided they would like to come down for a few days to Puerto Vallarta. The day before they left Josh and I spent the evening together just walking around town. It was great to get away and be alone at last. It was that night that we went walking on the beach at night and expressed how much we loved each other. As we were doing that, Josh pulled out a little white box, opened it, and asked me to marry him. It was definitely moment neither of us will ever forget. We couldn't stop crying! :-)
