Many Jews in the "Pentateuch"
named their children and their cities
and locations in general
after the names of Hindu deities commanding
vegetarianism.
This harmonizes meshes perfectly with
the vegetarian covenant
with humans in Genesis 1: 29 and with
the acknowledgment
of the consciousness and will of other
creatures in "Genesis 1: 30."
Both of these teachings are common
among Hindus and Jains.
The ancient Hebrew language as revelation
Numerous scholars
of ancient Hebrew have stated directly as well as implied that the Hebrew
language itself is a revelation, a revelation that the use of the language
cannot obliterate. The ancient Hebrew words contain basic significances
that cannot be denied, no matter how the words are used. And the fact is
that many ancient Hebrew words are transliterations of a Sanskrit
root. Since this is true even of a number of Hebrew terms for Deity and
terms that define Judaism itself, words like Jah, Jehovah, and Jehudi,
El Shaddai, El Kannon, even the skeptical reader must finally admit that
these facts demonstrate that Hindu beliefs are the very basis of the origin
of Judaism, and that the original Jews shared the same pantheon as the
Hindus.
Even after the second dietary covenant
in "Genesis 9,"
children, villages, places were still
named after deities or persons
condemning the animal sacrifices. This
is not logical.
If the ancient Jews had truly abandoned
the vegetarian covenant,
they would have avoided naming their
children and localities
after deities or persons who condemned
the animal sacrifices.
Though those rewriting the original Jewish scriptures could insert new norms, radically different from those that originally existed in the "Pentateuch," the language they used to do so nonetheless contradicts what they did. How so? For example, though the original dietary covenant was vegetarian as seen in Gen. 1: 29-30, orthodox Judaism now sees the second dietary covenant of Genesis 9: 2-3 allowing the consumption of flesh as superseding (rather than contradicting) the first covenant. However, the names given to Hebrew children, even after the days of the second covenant, and the names given to their villages, the names of their religious feast days, are the names of Hindu personalities or deities who denounced animal sacrifices. This is extremely strong evidence demonstrating that the scriptures of the "Pentateuch" have been revised. Those revising the scriptures revised the moral commandments but not the names of the people and places. And the names of those people and places confirm Esdras' statement that the beliefs of the original patriarchs and the late prophets denouncing the sacrifices was the same.
The scriptures of the Old Testament in general are pervaded with the names of well known Hindu personalities, such as Uma, Bala and Kali, consorts of Shiva. The warrior Arjuna from the Bhagavadgita is there. The Old Testament pervasively contains the name of the Hindu personality and deity Ramah who is also the epic hero in the Mahabharata. Numerous Hebrew names such as Isaiah and Isaac contain the Isa root. Isa is one of the names of Shiva, Vishnu and Ganesha. And Oshea, or Hosea, is a transliteration of Osseo, another name of Shiva. The name of Kali the mate of Shiva is used to describe Kal Israel, or all Israel, and is the the root of Kal Law, meaning bride. The earliest Israelites regarded themselves as brides of their deity, much as Christian monastics regard themselves as the brides of Christ. Asura (Asherah) simply meant Almighty God in the earliest days of Hinduism and it is connected with happiness suggesting that Asherah was also the God of joy or bliss. The Asherah shrines destroyed by the heretical cattleman cult were often the vegetarian shrines of Hindu deities. Kana (Chanah) is a shortened form of Kannan, the Tamil Hindu name of Krishna. The name Kannan is also the source for the name of Canaan, the promised land of milk and honey. The name of Shiva, also seen as Sheba, Seba, Saba and Sheva exists throughout the Old Testament. And concepts such as that of the divine name, or divine utterance, Naamah, also pervaded ancient Judaism as we can see by the numerous places and people that are named after Naamah. The veneration of Shiva was called Sabeanism. The terms Saba, Seba, and Sheba are all acknowledged transliterations of the name Shiva. Among mainstream Hindus all the above Hindu deities are recognized as teaching vegetarianism and compassion for all creatures, though minor sects in India still assert that animal sacrifices are sanctioned by Shiva and Kali in their terrible aspects.
The name of Shiva pervades ancient Judaism because the earliest Jews were Shaivites or Sabeans. The yeshiva is the name of a Jewish school or academy where one studies Judaism. This is not coincidence, but a historical connection with the very origins of Judaism. But though the name yeshiva is a rather direct reference to Shiva, the Hindu origin of the term is not acknowledged by the Jewish orthodoxy.
There is no doubt that the history of India includes sects that sacrificed animals. However, we know by the vegetarian covenant in the "Book of Genesis 1. 29-30" that it was the mainstream vegetarian Shaivites who were responsible for the transplanting of the worship of Shiva and Kannan. Though even rabbinical Judaism admits the fact that the original dietary covenant was vegetarian, rabbinical Judaism nonetheless makes the rather illogical assertion that an All Perfect Deity somehow changed its perfect mind, eternal law, which is certainly one of the many contradictions that has led numerous biblical scholars to affirm that books of the Torah ascribed to Moses, for example, actually had multiple authors. The reason multiple authorship is declared by these scholars is not only because of stylistic differences, but also because of contradictory themes and morals.
The earliest Jews were Shaivites worshipping Shiva. This is evident in the first book of "Genesis" wherein we have the model for the Sabbath day, God working for six days and resting on the seventh. And after the birth and maturation of Cain, many Jews were worshippers of El Kannon as well, who was also known as Krishna. Cain had a shining birth and was an avatar representing vegetarianism according to apocryphal accounts of Adam and Eve and their family. Cain has been one of the most maligned and misunderstood people in history, precisely because of scriptural revisions. Originally Cain was a hero protecting God's creatures from one who killed them. Abel was the original transgressor against the vegetarian covenant of Gen. 1. Abel's name even in the form we have is no doubt the source of the term "evil." The prefix Ab in ancient Hebrew also functioned like the Ab in Abnormal, as a prefix of negation. El is the name of God. The name Abel, Ab-El, signified one who negated or obscured God, which Abel did when he sacrificed animals and thereby transgressed the law of Genesis 1.29.
The fact that Jews in "Genesis" long after the exodus continued to name their children and locations after Hindu deities supports Esdras' contention in 2 Esdras, that the earliest patriarchs taught vegetarianism as did the later prophets. Coupled with the recognition that the tradition described as Tsabaism, Sabeanism, or Shaivism was the dominant culture in the ancient world, along with the fact that the lineage of Noah created the vegetarian cultures of Ancient Ethiopia, Kush, and Sheba, we have more than sufficient grounds to demonstrate that it was the vegetarian tradition that ruled the earliest days of Judaism, and not the carnivorous tradition demanding animal sacrifices. The Jewish vegetarian tradition is firmly established in the very first chapter of Genesis, in the eulogy to God's creation that begins the book and especially in Genesis 1: 29-30, which commands vegetarianism for all creatures, not just humans, and which thereby defines the moral and dietary parameters of paradise, as a non-violent place where the sacredness of all creatures is affirmed, and where no creatures are harmed.
It will, I contend, easily be seen by using new criticism techniques that the passages sanctioning animal sacrifices and carnivorism after the Deluge in the 9th chapter of "Genesis" are obviously revisions, do not make sense from the point of view of nutrition or morality, and certainly these scriptures are not emanations of an All Compassionate Deity.
Once one has examined
the overwhelming amount of evidence demonstrating the Hindu origins of
Judaism, then numerous other passages in the Old Testament that
are commonly acknowledged as being filled with contradictions, problems,
or even "mysteries," may be seen for what they are, obvious revisions of
the original" Vegetarian Bible," as posited by Abegg, Wise and Cook in
their edition of the
Dead Sea Scrolls. An original Vegetarian
Bible was revised to sanction the ulterior motives of the rich to to derive
profit from the animal sacrifices and from the institution of slavery.
The Rich and Powerful Rewrite History
and Scriptures
in order to Make it Appear that Their
Own Evils are Sanctioned by Deity.
The Book of Enoch was a Model
to the Earliest Jews.
The battle between elitism and egalitarian
has raged on
since the beginning of recorded time.
Some of the correlations which follow, between Sheba and the Shabbath and Sheva (or between Saba and the Sabbath in the English language), between Kal Israel and Kali the mate of Shiva, between Gan Eden and the ideal world of the Gana or Jain, to give just a few examples, will seem extremely obvious to the truly objective reader. Many young readers, however, believing that professional teachers are by their nature teachers of the truth, may still be a little naive and ask why these truths were not unearthed or made public knowledge during one's religion classes. The naive personality believes, as I did when I was younger, that older people, especially teachers of religion who speak of God and morality constantly, are sincere. The naive personality believes, as I did when younger, that most older teachers and professors, once understanding what is true, will teach what is true. But most older readers and or more objective people who understands that some use their free wills to commit more evil than good, there is no need to wonder. The victors write history and the scriptures in order to sanction profits accrued from their own immoral and evil actions towards other humans and other creatures, which is demonstrated by industry's exploitation of nature and its creatures, and by animal sacrifices. All such exploitation was originally forbidden in the original Vegetarian Bible. Part of that Vegetarian Bible clearly exists in the Ethiopic Book of Enoch, for example, which forbids all killing, whether of animals or humans, and which forbids all industrial exploitation of creatures and the environment; mining, for example, is forbidden. The Book also forbids artifice of any kind: cosmetics are forbidden. The Book forbids, except to Enoch, the writer of the Book, all writing as well. We are to accept creation or Nature as it exists. To attempt to improve on the Creator's creation is the sin. Nature is Deity's will. The Book of Enoch makes it clear that it is those who attempt to subdue and have dominion over any being or any thing in nature who are the heretics against the Divine Will. Jesus' Beatitudes in Matthew 5, Jesus' frequent references to the "Son of Man," and his view of the Final Days were all conscious and quite deliberate references to the Book of Enoch. John of Patmos also consciously refers to the Book of Enoch when he describes the fall and destruction of Babylon, wherein reside the world's kings, merchants, landowners, and industrialists. In other words, as in the earliest Christian/Essene communities described in "Acts," there is a return to egalitarian communalism.
Those who are familiar
with the writings of the ancient East, of the Jains and the mainstream
Hindus who worship Shiva, Krishna, and Sakti, know that for the most
part in their scriptures all oppression of other creatures is forbidden,
that the ideal world is one in which all creatures in creation are at peace.
This is also the view of scriptures of the Maya, Hopi, as well as of "Revelations,"
and of the original Quran that saw all creatures as the sacred family
of Allah.
That other creatures were sentient beings
with free will,
a belief common in Hinduism,
was also believed by the original Jews,
as is seen in Genesis 1: 30.
One of the primary beliefs common to the earliest Jews and to the Hindus is not only vegetarianism, but the recognition that all creatures are sentient beings having free will. The vegetarian covenant of Genesis 1: 29-30 states not only that humans, but other creatures as well, are to be vegetarian. Deity would not give a command to the other creatures unless those creatures had the freedom to obey or disobey that command. And we have numerous other remnants of the original scriptures in Genesis that agree with the Book of Enoch, the notion, for example, that Deity comes to convict "all flesh" with the Deluge, because all forms of flesh are guilty of violence and corruption; in other words, that other animals have also chosen carnivorism. Isaias, in one of his classic denunciations of the animal sacrifices likens the people practicing animal sacrifices to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, who deserved to be destroyed because they shed the blood of God's creatures. Looking at it from Isaiah's point of view one comes to the conclusion that orthodox Jews used homosexuality as a scapegoat concept in order to suppress God's real displeasure, the animal sacrifices.
The Book of Enoch
condemns the fallen angels to hellish fire for initiating animal sacrifices
among the people of earth. It is said by Plato that Atlantis fell
because its inhabitants "mingled with mortality," which, one can argue,
is a rather accurate description of ingesting the animal sacrifices.
Hostile Takeovers:
Destroying the Asherah shrines,
Killing Jesus after he cleansed the
temple,
Collecting all copies of the Quran
and revising them after Muhammad's death.
The destruction of the Asherah in the Old Testament documents the rebellion of a cattleman cult promoting carnivorism and elitism who removed and/or revised the teachings of original Judaism, that is, the Vegetarian Bible, and replaced those teachings with scriptures sanctioning the subduing, dominating, and killing of other beings. The heretical rebellion against the Asherah, the Asura, was paralleled in New Testament times by those who subverted the vegetarianism and egalitarianism of Jesus and of his hand-picked disciples and earliest followers. Orthodox Christians, especially the ministers and priests of Orthodox Christianity, are quick to forget that "Epistle to the Hebrews," describes Jesus' mission as the same as that of David: to abolish the animal sacrifices. This parallels what happened to the true tradition of Islam once the Sunnis overcame the Shiites. The name Shiites may very well simply be a variation or transliteration of Shaivites (Shivites) or Sabeans. The vegetarian Sabeans are even praised in the Koran. After Muhammad's death there was no need for Bakr to collect copies of the Quran, except to make certain that all copies of the Quran, once released back to the people, now followed the new direction chosen by Bakr. The Quran, like the Old and New Testaments, contains both strong denunciations of animal sacrifices as well as affirmations of them.
People in power such as wealthy cattlemen and slave owners were threatened by the egalitarianism and vegetarianism of the earliest Jews. The Roman and Jewish establishment were threatened in the times of Jesus by the Essenes, Nazarenes, Ebionites who criticized the animal sacrifices, by Jesus who in his "cleansing of the temple" literally chased the animals to be sacrificed out of the temple, and by the zealot friends of Jesus who attacked and killed slave holders, both Jewish and Roman. "I have come to free the captive," said Jesus, and his Zealot friends raided Roman arsenals and stole their weaponry, and burned the Temple of Records in Jerusalem, where, Josephus tells us, the records of the debts owed by the poor to the rich were stored.
Jesus' egalitarian teachings were no doubt battle cries for the Zealots. Once people took to heart the golden rule, the notion that they were equals who were to love their neighbors as themselves, then elitism in general and imperialism in particular are seen for the evils they are. Therefore, from the imperial point of view, one can see the need of imperial powers to quell such treasonous teachings. This need was satisfied in the teachings of Paul sanctioning not only slavery, but the authority of the emperor and the empire. Finally, the tyrant and slave holder, Emperor Constantine, gathered bishops to make an official body of Christian doctrine that would conform to Rome. This completed the conversion of Christianity to Rome, and repudiates the false claim of Christian apologists that Rome was converted by Christianity.
And this is how the great egalitarian teachings of Jesus that aroused Zealots to die for a Judea in which no man would call any man God, not even the mighty emperor of Rome, were marginalized: first, by the teachings of Paul, who is accurately described as an apostate by James the brother of Jesus, and who has justly been described as the Antichrist by numerous scholars; secondly, by Emperor Constantine having bishops create a New Testament conforming to the teachings of Rome, justifying slavery and social elitism as well as animal sacrifices. The communal, and egalitarian teachings of Jesus were marginalized, both by Paul's teachings, and by revisions of Jesus' words.
So too the rich and powerful Arabs of Muhammad's time after his death used the opportunity to usurp a true religion with one favoring their particular economics. The Quran's praise of the vegetarian Sabeans, its association of shedding blood on earth with Iblis or Satan, its assertion that all creatures are the family of Allah who will be gathered to him, are all remnants of the original vegetarian/egalitarian Quran that was revised by those in the tradition we called the Sunnis.
The establishments
of the rich have always been threatened by the those around them who seek
to eradicate the class differences between humans and who seek to build
a society based on literally loving your neighbor as your self, that is,
as an equal. The Jewish Essenes, who were also vegetarian, were such
an egalitarian group, a group in which no woman or man was given more food
or clothing or a better shelter. All things were owned communally.
Most orthodox scholars argue that the Essenes existed for only two or three
hundred years before the time of Christ. But there are other sources, including
the texts of the Essenes themselves, that claim that the Essenes went back
to the original days of Judaism. Some Essene texts claim that the Essenes
existed in the time of Shem, the son of Noah. Once it is realized
that all the variations of the names used to designate the Essenes, such
as Essenes, Jessaeans, Osseans, and Esaoi, were derived from the names
of Shiva, the Osseans from Osseo, Essenes and Jessaeans from Asani or Isana,
and Esaoi from Isa, then the Essenes' claim that they lived "for thousands
of ages" make sense and fall into place perfectly in Jewish history; they
were the remnant of the renunciate tradition that had always existed in
Judaism, just as it had always existed in Hinduism. Just as renunciation
of the world and renouncing the caste system was a part of Shiva's life,
so too were they part of the life of the Essenes, who lived apart from
orthodox Jewish society, who detested human slavery as well as the brutality
of the animal sacrifices, and who were indeed the pure remnant of Judaism
remaining true to the vegetarian covenant of Genesis 1: 29.
One can hope that the youth of Judaism
will see and assert the truth of their
origins.
It is understandable that those of the Jewish faith who are youthful are not yet knowledgeable about the suppressed history of their faith. For them it is simply a matter of not knowing the history of one's religion, and not a conscious act of suppression. To those who claim to be scholars of Judaism, however, and to the rabbinical elite, this must be said: you are either deficient in the knowledge of the ancient history of your own faith or else you have consciously suppressed that history in order to protect the false scriptures sanctioning your addictions and the evil ways of the rich whom you support.
Be that as
it may, the truth is now being told, by Sword of Truth, by Hinduism
Today, by the writers of Viewzone magazine, as well as by numerous
other scholars of Judaism and Hinduism whose works are readily available
on the net. The fact that some students in India have become re-excited
by Sanskrit inevitably means that studies such as this one you are about
to read will become more commonplace in the future, for just as Sanskrit
is the mother of Hebrew and the Semitic languages in general, so too was
the religious
culture of India the mother of Judaism,
and, as we have said, the ancient Hebrew language itself tells a radically
different story than that which is told by orthodox Judaism.
The Builders have Rejected the Cornerstone:
The Orthodoxies of Judaism, Christianity,
and Islam
Have Rejected their Hindu and Peaceful
Origins.
In the words of Jesus,
"the builders have rejected the cornerstone." Jesus, like Moses and
Muhammad, understood that his words would be corrupted into a false religion
such as that which is preached by most of the scriptures of the New
Testament, in which the originally pure teachings of Jesus were replaced
or marginalized by a preponderance of scriptures sanctioning Roman values
such as slavery, elitist economics, sexism, bigotry against homosexuals,
and the disease-promoting diet of carnivorism. When these beliefs,
all of which promote violence towards other humans or other creatures,
beliefs which exist in the Torah and Quran as well, are lined
up with each other, it must give pause even among those of the orthodox
who still attempt to cling to some objectivity.
William Harris in his The Scientific
Basis of Vegetarianism
confirms on a world level what Eastern
writers have been saying for millenia,
and what Michio Kushi confirmed in
his Crime and Diet,
which describes case studies in prison
wards,
that a vegetarian diet pacifies people.
Imperialist diets and imperialist politics
go together.
We shall see in later parts of this study, that a comparative study of religions leads also to a comparative study of the politics that exist in each of these religious cultures. One of the most indisputable facts of history is that the ancient Israelites, when they had greater political power, were often violent imperialists, just as the histories of orthodox Christianity and orthodox Islam reveal them to be violent imperialist cultures as well. Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist cultures, as well as the smaller cultures practicing Pythagoreanism, or the Maya culture following the vegetarian teachings of the Plumed Serpent Quetzalcoatl, were relatively peaceful cultures. They did not invade other religious cultures. In fact, they allow other religions to exist peacefully within their own countries. By their fruits you shall know them. Which cultures are invading other countries today? The answer is: the Christian United States, Jewish Israel, and nations controlled by Islamic Sunni fundamentalists. Not, I repeat, not Hindus or Buddhists. Only the fool does not regard peacemaking and peaceful living as the mark of truly spiritual cultures. The cultures of the peaceful Buddhist and Hindu nations more closely fit this model, not the cultures of the war-making carnivorous cultures. The fact is, our thousands of years of known history consistently assert the validity of these observations, that vegetarian cultures are simply more peaceful than carnivorous ones, and less inclined, as students of history such as William Harris in his The Scientific Basis of Vegetarianism has asserted, to violent crimes. Harris correlates a higher rate of violent crime existing in carnivorous cultures. So too Michio Kushi in his Crime and Diet documents the pacifying effects of a macrobiotic (mainly vegetarian) diet in prison wards previously noted for violence.
Isn't peace on earth
what most of us want? We've been taught how to live more peacefully
at least for thousands of years by Hindu, Jain and Buddhist cultures.
Certainly these cultures are not perfect. They still have the remnants
of animal and human slavery as well as sexism towards women in many areas.
Yet they have nonetheless managed to avoid the political imperialist tendency
leading to mass scale wars which has governed carnivorous religious cultures.
Frankly, we've been taught false concepts of authority and manhood, that
might is right ("It's a man's world--that's the way men are!") by our Jewish,
Christian, and Sunni Islamic orthodoxies, all of which are heresies against
their more peaceful and pure religious origins. Imperialist diets lead
to imperialist politics. Violent diets lead to violent politics. Eastern
writers have been telling us this for millennia. We haven't listened to
them because we were taught that they were crude, even savages, compared
to us in the western technological, industrialized, progressive world.
It's time to listen. The Book of Enoch states unequivocally that
industrial progress is an illusion and spiritual progress occurs when we
choose to live harmoniously with all creation. This very notion,
we shall see in the following pages, was at the very core of the origins
of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
