Age:3500 Race:Human, Anarian Occupation:Sorcerer, Advisor to the Council Powers:Fenyx is a Sorcerer, so he has the ability of the Will Arts*. He is the best in the biz when it comes to his use of the Arts, not to mention the fact that he has thirty five hundred years of knowledge already. Fenyx was burned by a phoenix when he was younger and this gave him an extra power. When ever he gets angry, the permanent burn mark on his right arm ignites and he is able to control the flame that it exudes. There is a cost, however. The fire is extremely painful and he feels terribly weak after he uses it. He also has to keep his emotions in constant check to make sure there are no chance flare-ups.
*To find out more about the Arts look in the Arts section. Weapons:Fenyx rarely uses a weapon. He does know how due to his short stint in the Anarian army, but he prefers to use his powers. He does have a short sword that he uses on rare occasions. History:Fenyx was raised in the old Anari empire. When he was 13, he found out that he was not quite like other boys. His eyes didn't seem to wander to the distaff gender as other boys' eyes did, but they did catch a few of the boys' eyes instead. And at age 15, he discovered that he was also a Sorcerer. At age 18, he went to the Isle of Ostandi for training in the Will Arts. After 500 years of training and studying, he was named the High Sorcerer of Ostandi and became an Advisor to the Council. Shortly after this, the war between the East and West broke out and he was given training to lead as a general in the Army of Anari. After the war was over and the Anari Empire was split into Anari, Hecastia, and Redim*, Fenyx decided to travel the West and help with the recovery from the War. He soon met his lover, Stration, a Wizard of high skill who helped him on his journeys. They traveled the western kingdoms for about 100 years. Then, during a trek along the plains of Redim, Fenyx shot a large bird out of the sky with an arrow for supper. When he went to where it fell, he discovered that the bird was indeed a phoenix. When he tried to take the arrow out of the bird and tend to its wound, the phoenix caught aflame in its final dying stage and wrapped itself around Fenyx's right arm. He was terribly burned, but as it healed, the burn took on the shape of flames. He then discovered that at points of high anger his arm would burst into flame. With a few years of practice, he was able to hone this weird quirk into new power, but it had a great cost. Not only did the fire cause great pain and drain him of his strength, but unfortunately the flame was not brought on by anger alone. He found out that strong sexual emotion also caused the flame to emerge, but he discovered this one too late. While making love to Stration, his arm caught on fire, but in the state Fenyx was in, he was unable to concentrate enough to contain it and the fire engulfed Stration and killed him. Bitter and alone, Fenyx returned to Ostandi to stand as Advisor for the Council and he only left the isle when the Council required it of him. Now, he has been called to sit in on a meeting of great importance.
