TAIWAN (Summer '99)

Location: opposite Taipei
Railway Station, Taipei City This trip was made with my German friend, Kaj with our mutual friend from Taipei, Hsiou Wen, and her relatives and friends. We spent a week driving around Taiwan island, b4 returning to Taipei. Taipei is one of my most favourite cities. It has great food, and is my shopping paradise. Must-see places r Dan Shui and Shi Lin night market. (Left photo) |

Location:
at a Cultural Centre This is a tribal dance performed especially for tourist. This tribe happens to be the same tribe as the popular singer A*mei. Coincidently, there was a festive celebration... for the photo of actual tribe members, see next page. (Left photo) |
