Kagbeni isn't especially unique in the sense that its houses r similar to those found in Jomsom n Muktinath. Located 3-4 hours from Jomsom, it is a relatively boring walk and not worth the effort. Moreover, walking back to Jomsom in the afternoon means that one will have to brave the afternoon winds along the Kali Gandaki River bed.

The houses here usually have grazing yard for the horses the ply the route between Jomsom and Kagbeni.
