My Truth

You ask that I come tomorrow,
I whisper, I'm here today.
In your presence Always,
Loving you ever minute of your day.

You cry out loud, "I need you!";
You beg me to hear your plea.
But, my love, I am here beside you.
Open your heart, and hear Me say.

Let not the World distract you.
Let not your desires take My place.
Sit there in your solitude.
In the Quiet, am I there.

Let My Words be your Wisdom.
Set aside what others have to say.
Make not the mistakes of past generations,
As you walk Life's treacherous path.

Step out, and be the Light that you are.
My Truth, embedded deep in your hearts.
It comes in the form of a Knowing,
A persistent tug, when your heart goes the wrong way.

In time, they will form Words in your mind,
A reminder of who You really are.
Not just another fashionable body.
Your singularity, formed in the consciousness of your heart.

Thus I say unto you,
Let the World dance to its own music.
Instead, sing to the tune of your song,
For your worth, lies not in their acceptance.
You are a gem, precious in My eyes.
