Conclusion...
In conclusion, it seems very improbable that the government will take on the task of educating the people about the need for a universal health care system. The present administration has actually been doing the opposite by, amongst other things, promoting the privatization of Medicare. It is therefore left to us, the people, to take on the challenge. Without major popular support, health care for all will remain just a dream. We have to remain optimistic despite being in hostile territory. As I have explained, opponents of universal health care have huge financial resources, and since money equates to power, this adds much difficulty to our task.

We must not get discouraged however for we represent a very large group that includes the 43 million uninsured Americans, the millions of underinsured Americans, the Medicaid recipients, human rights groups, and some church groups. Together we should fight and maybe one day, if we succeed, the United States constitution will add a right to healthcare to its fundamental rights, like most developed countries have.
