WHOLE WHEAT HAMBURGER BUNS

For 1 1/2 pound

1 cup water
1 egg
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup shortning
1/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons yeast

Place all ingredients and select dough setting. When finished divide into 8 pieces, roll into balls and flatten into bun shape. Placed on greased baking pan (I use my baking stone) cover and let rise in warm oven 10-15 minutes. To slightly warm oven turn it to Warm for about 2 minutes then turn it off and lace covered dough in oven. Remove dough to preheat oven)

Preheat oven to 400. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool on racks. They will keep in freezer for about 3 to 4 weeks.
