HAMBURGER ROLLS

1 pkg       Yeast
1 C          Water
4 tbsp      Sugar
1 tsp        Salt
2-3/4 C    Flour
1-             Egg

Mix yeast, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 C warm water, and salt;  let get bubbly.  Then beat in eggs, 1 C flour, 2 Tbsp sugar. Then add 1-3/4 C flour; stir until smooth scrapping sides.  Cover and let rise for 1 hour; stir down batter.  Lay out on floured surface and divide into 12 balls. Place on greased cookie sheet 1 inch apart.  Let rise for 30 minutes.  Bake at  400 for 15 minutes.
