RUSSIAN CABBAGE PIE

1 two-crust pie shell
1/2 pd ground beef
1 small cabbage,shredded
1(3oz.)package cream cheese
1 onion, chopped
3 Tbsp butter
1(4oz)can sliced mushrooms


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake one pie shell, remove from oven and spread cream cheese on this shell. Saute cabbage, onion, and mushrooms until cabbage is done. Brown beef, add to cabbage and toss. Put mixture in pie shell on top of cream cheese. Put other pie shell on top of pie. Slice four air vents and bake until top pie shell is brown- 20-30 min. Makes 6 servings
