3 cups sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed (or Sugary Sam's Golden Yams, I use 1 large [29 oz] and one small [15 oz] can)
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 stick (4 tbsp) butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Mix all of the above and put into a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
1/2 c brown sugar
1/3 c flour
1/3 c butter or margarine, melted
1 c. nuts, chopped
Mix together and spread over sweet potato mixture. Bake 35 minutes at 350.
