This is a recipe for lemonade syrup that we use for snowcones as well as to make lemonade.
1 cup water
1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar
1 cup lemon juice (or mix lemon and lime)
Bring water and sugar to a boil and let boil 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
To make lemonade, use about 1 part syrup to 5/6 parts water. (best to taste rather than follow my directions here)
Or just pour the syrup straight on the ice for WONDERFUL snowcones.
