| Chili -- Stage 2 -- GFCF -- good for low carbers, too
3 lbs hamburger (I got the kind ground for chili--kind of chunky) 1 onion, chopped (I used 2 TBS dehydrated onion flakes) 2 cans crushed tomatoes, 28 oz each 3 TBS chili powder 6 tsp salt 6 tsp sugar 6 stalks celery, chopped (about 2 cups) Brown hamburger with onion (or onion flakes). Drain. Put into cooking pot. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, and then simmer for 1 hour. This freezes well. You can add sour cream, shredded cheese, diced onions, etc for topping, if desired. |
