| PEAR SAUCE 12 cups pears, peeled, cored and cut up 1 heaping cup sugar 1/2 TSP Allspice 1 1/2 cups water Put all ingredients in a large pot and stir together. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and put in blender or food processor. Process until desired consistency. You could also mash by hand if necessary |
