RICE PUDDING

2 C       Milk
1/2 C    Long grain rice
1/2 C    Raisins ~  Stage 2
1/4 C    Butter
3           Eggs,beaten
2 C       Milk
1/2 C    Sugar
1 tsp     Vanilla
1/2 tsp  Salt
             Cinnamon

In a medium sauce pan bring 2C milk, rice, and raisins to boil; reduce heat, cover and cook for 15 minutes or until rice is tender.  Reduce from heat and stir in butter until melted.  In a medium bowl combinethe eggs, 2C milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Gradually stir in the rice mixture; pour into a 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish.  Bake at 325 for 30 minutes; ;stir well and sprinkle with cinnamon.  Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
