Veggie-Topped Pork Chops  

4-6 boneless pork chops (3/4 in. thick or so)
1 T. butter
1/2 c. water
1 c. mushrooms, finely chopped
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
garlic powder, to taste

Brown chops on both sides in butter. Place in casserole baking dish; pour water over. Saute veggies in same pan, adding more butter if needed. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place veggies on top of chops, bake at 350* for about 40 min. or until done.
