RHUBARB RELISH

2 C        Rhubarb, finely chopped
2 C        Onion, finely chopped
2-1/2 C  Brown sugar, packed
2 C        Vinegar
1 tsp      Salt
1/2 tsp   Ground  cinnamon
1/2 tsp   Ground cloves
1/4 tsp    Pepper

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cover over medium heat for  30 minutes or until thick. Stir occasionally.  Cool and store in refrigerator.
