| PEAR PANCAKES This idea is from Martha Stewart, yet unbelievably easy! Just mix up a batch of pancake batter, adding a little extra milk to thin it a tiny bit. Then, butter the griddle or pan very well, place a peeled 1/4 inch slice of pear (circle shape with core removed) on the griddle, and let cook for a couple minutes. Then add pancake batter on top, using a ladle, then smoothing it a bit to make sure the batter got evenly into and around the edges of the pancake. Cook that side until ready to flip. Flip gently, then cook the other side. These usually take just a bit longer to cook. Serve with confectioners sugar sprinkled on top. Heaven |
