1.5 bags chocolate chips, approx 1lb
3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
8 cups Crispix or other chex-type cereal
1 cup peanuts
2 cups powdered sugar
Melt chocolate, stir in PB.
Put cereal and nuts in large bowl
Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and stir till coated.
In large bowl or ice cream bucket WITH lid, dump 1 cup powdered sugar
Pour in cereal mixture
Dump in 1 more cup sugar
Cover bowl and shake well. Open and break up lumps, and shake again.
I divide this up into about 10 snack-size zipper bags and put them in the pantry for individual snacks. All the little broken bits I put in an empty PB jar and use for ice cream topping.
