CARAMEL DIP FOR PEARS

1-12 ounce can   Evaporated milk
3/4 C                  Brown sugar
1-1/2 tbsp           Butter
1-1/2 tsp             Corn starch
1-1/2 tsp             Vanilla

Combine milk, corn starch in a saucepan; combine well.  Add sugar, and butter.   Heat on medium high heat  whisking until thick.  Add vanilla.  Store in refrigerator.
