RECIPE FROM BINDER

4 cups of peeled,sliced pears
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1 cup of sugar
sprinkle of cinnamone

Combine all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Cook over med. heat until pears are tender. Place in blender on med.speed for several seconds or until desired consistancey is reached. Return to saucepan and continue cooking over medium heat until thick.Pour boiling hot into sterilized canning jars and seal or refridgerate in covered container.

This is the basic recipe out of the reciped binder and Teri has posted other fruit that can replace the pear.This recipe works great for all of them. She makes the mango,pear/rhubarb, and kiwi.She said she doesn't add the cinnamon to these flavors and uses lime juice instead of lemon.
