| POMEGRANITE JAM 2 enelopes Knox unflavored gelatin 1 cup RW Knudsen pomegrante juice 1 cup crushes & drained well pears 1/4 pure lemon juice 2/3 cups sugar In large sauce pan, sprinkle gelatin over juice.Let stand 1 min. Stir over low heat for 4 minutes until it is disloved. Add sugar,lemon juice. Bring to a boil, stir a lot. Then simmer on low for about 10 min. In another small bowl put drained canned pears. Cut and slice them in small chunks.Drain juice off again. Add them to simmering juice mix. Cook 5 min. on low. Spoon into jars or bowls (I used small jelly jars) let cool on counter 1 hour. Then put in refrigerator. Sets in 4 hours. And it was thick like jam. |
