BANANA & CREAM BUNDT CAKE

1/3 C          Shortening
1-1/4 C       Sugar
2                 Eggs
1 tsp           Vanilla
1-1/4 C       Mashed ripe bananas (about 3)
2C              Flour
1-1/4 tsp     Baking powder
1 tsp           Baking soda
1/2 tsp        Salt
1 C             Sour cream
3/4 C          Nuts, chopped
                  Powdered sugar


In a mixing bowl cream shortening and sugar; add eggs one at a time.  Blend in vanilla and mashed banana.   Mix in sifted dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream.  Stir in walnuts.  Pour into greased and floured 10 inch fluted tube pan.  Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.  Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.  Dust with powdered sugar.
