Malasadas.....Hawaiian doughnuts(no holes but big hit in Hawaii)  
1 pkg yeast
1 t sugar
1/4 c warm water (110 degrees)
6 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1/2 t salt
1/4 c melted butter
1 c water
1 c evaporated milk
6 eggs
1 qt vegetable oil for frying(some people suggest soy oil to prevent too much oil absorbing)
extra sugar for coating(you can add cinammon or whatever ideas to sugar coating)

Dissolve yeast, 1 t sugar and water-set aside.
Measure flour in bowl,add salt.
Make well in flour,pour yeast mixture eggs and remaining ingredients.
Beat in circular motion until dough is soft.
Cover and let raise until double.
Turn dough and let raise again(don't punch hole).
Heat oil to 375 degrees and drop by teasponfulls cooking until brown.
Coat and serve warm!! Ono!! (delicious)
